Pat Nolan is a Cork-based artist whose practice focuses primarily on figurative drawing and painting, with a particular interest in working from life. His interest in art began during secondary school, although he subsequently pursued a career in engineering. After many years working in engineering and management, he returned to art more seriously, initially as a means of meditation and wellbeing. Since 2025, he has been able to devote more time to developing his artistic practice, with a particular focus on the human figure, form, light, tone and gesture.
